LOVE Update #17 - LOVE, now in 9 Languages

Thanks to the help of players and friends, LOVE has now been translated into 9 different languages including English, Español, Français, Nederlands, Deutsche, русский, Português, українська, & Dansk. All menus and results screens have been translated, though the Tutorial is still currently in need of a total overhaul to work with variable text.

But that's not all -- every menu has been completely redone. Now instead of having to exit back to the main menu to adjust sound settings or screen settings, you can access most of the game's options from the pause screen.

If you haven't touched LOVE in a while (you'd be forgiven since the game came out six years ago), you might have also missed the update which brought the game's framerate up to 60fps, instead of the difficult to stomach 30fps that I hard-coded the game to in 2014. You can read that update here.

Did you know that in 2017 we released a sequel to LOVE with a whole new soundtrack from James Bennett? You can pick up LOVE 2: kuso on Steam or Nintendo Switch and enjoy more LOVE with the benefit of 3 years of game dev experience.

Maybe you're already very familiar with LOVE 2: kuso. Maybe you're looking for more. Well, don't worry, sometime in 2021, we're droppin' this.

It'll be localized in multiple languages, have all the quality of life improvements I've made to LOVE and LOVE 2: kuso, and have all sorts of new challenges and secrets that I never could have pulled off in 2014 or 2017. LOVE 3 will be the best game I've ever made, and we've been working on it for a while. I can't wait to show you more than a placeholder logo on a photo from a street in Tokyo. And hopefully it'll be soon.
